8 Binge-Worthy Shows I'm Loving

I don't know about y'all but there is nothing I love more than curling up on the couch with my husband and dog watching one of our favorite shows. We have so many shows we watch I always joke that we need to create an excel sheet listing all the shows, when they come on, and on what channel to keep up! Majority of these shows are on a break right now but will be starting back up soon, making this the perfect time to binge-watch them! Without further ado let's get to our top 7 shows!

1. The Resident
Absolutely love this show, partly because I love Matt Czuchry (he is seriously so cute y'all) and I think Emily Vancamp is a badass! Who else loved watching Revenge?! The Resident is so awesome and is hands down mine and my husband's favorite show right now. I always enjoy any medical show but something about this one is so good and I can't wait to watch the next episode. I love that this show reveals the truth about what really happens, both the good and bad, in hospitals across the country.

2. Legacies
This is my random show that doesn't quite fit in with the theme of the rest of our shows we are watching right now. I've never been into the vampire/werewolf thing but something about this show has us hooked. The creator of this show also created Vampire Diaries and The Originals, which we also were obsessed with, so I guess it should be no surprise we love this show just as much. Even if you aren't into vampires and supernatures y'all should definitely try these shows out, they really get you hooked and into your feelings! The show continues on from Vampire Diaries and The Originals, it is those shows main characters children that are coming to be their supernatural selves and learning how to handle it.

3. The Good Doctor
Another doctor show...surprise! I'm not sure what it is but the past couple of months we have been on a roll with doctor shows. I think it all started when I binge-watched Grey's Anatomy, another great show that is a must watch! I love that this show showcases a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome that doesn't let his conditions hold him back from being an excellent surgeon. It is so refreshing to see a show such as this, love the message!

4. 911

Another fun and exciting show filled with drama and action is 911. The show draws from real-life, high-pressure experiences of first responders who regularly face heart-stopping situations that are often unpredictable, intense and uplifting at the same time. I really enjoy this show and how it sheds light on the challenges our first responders face every day.

5. New Amsterdam
Surprise surprise, once again another doctor show! This is a newer show that we have slowly been getting into. The brilliant and charming Dr. Max Goodwin, the institution's newest medical director, sets out to tear up the bureaucracy and provide exceptional care. Dr. Goodwin must disrupt the status quo and prove he will stop at nothing to breathe new life into this understaffed, underfunded and underappreciated hospital - the only one in the world capable of treating Ebola patients, prisoners from Rikers and the president of the United States under one roof - and return it to the glory that put it on the map. I enjoy that is showcases how healthcare can be corrupt. I learned so much about the healthcare industry in school and how corrupt it can be and this show really sheds some light on it. Really great clean show that I think anyone would enjoy.

6. Dynasty
This modernized reboot of the popular 80's soap about two wealthy families, the Carringtons and the Colby's, and their fight for control over their fortune. This show is FULL of drama and really keeps you on your toes as to what will happen next. It has everything from an independent feisty woman fighting to prove her place in the family business, to love, heartbreak, and death. Dynasty not only features the glitz and gloss of extreme wealth but also exposes the dark underbelly of a corrupt world built on backroom deals. If you love a good drama this show is for you!

7. Manifest
Another new show we recently found and really loving is Manifest. This is truly a different show that I didn't think I would love as much as I do. Manifest is about Montego Air Flight 828 that went missing for 5 years and then magically landed one day. When the flight lands the passengers hadn't aged and didn't know any time had passed. The world had aged five years and their friends, families and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they're all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible. The show is about how they overcome the obstacles of coming back to their life that isn't the same and trying to figure what happened to them on that flight. Some of the passengers are missing, and the others are having "callings", telling them to save people and leading them on the journey to find out the truth about what happened on Flight 828.

8. Riverdale
Last but not least is one of my OG's....Riverdale! Based on the characters of the popular Archie Comics is full of mystery, love, and drama. While navigating the troubled waters of sex, romance, school and family, teen Archie and his gang become entangled in a dark Riverdale mystery.  his show really keeps you on your toes, not knowing when the next death will happen, who it will be, and who the "black hood" is that is causing all of the death in this small town.

What are some of your favorite shows? I'd love to know in the comments, we are always looking for new shows!
