Hey Y'all! I thought I would tell you a little more about myself by sharing 10 Things I Can't Live Without. These are things I use daily and are a staple in my life. All of these pieces are great basics I think everyone needs and will love!
10 THINGS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT
-
Sunglasses
I had LASIK surgery a year and a half ago and ever since I always make sure to have my sunglasses on me. I want to protect my new eyes as much as possible! They also make the perfect accessory for any look. My go-to sunglasses are by Ray-Ban. It is so hard to find a pair of sunglasses that fit my petite face. Ray-Ban actually has petite frames! This aviator style is so classic and always on-trend.
- Pearls
Every woman needs a good pair of pearls. As a classic southern staple, pearls can be worn every day and for any occasion. My husband bought me these beautiful Tiffanys pearl earrings from for Christmas a few years back. I'm OBSESSED with them. I wear them pretty much every day, they look fantastic with any outfit! These high-quality earrings also don't irritate my ears like so many others do. They are definitely worth an investment, but it's worth it since they are such a timeless piece.
Cowboy Boots
Y'all knew my boots HAD to be included in my things I can't live without! I talked about my favorite cowboy boots here and gave some recommendations for boots you should add to your wardrobe. Cowboy boots are so comfy and add a fun stylish touch to any look. If you don't own a pair of cowboy boots you should....I can't live without them!
iPhone
Nowadays everyone has a smartphone. My phone of choice, like so many others, is an iPhone. I am patiently waiting for the release of the newest iPhone X! I'm sure everyone says can't live without my phone, its part of our generation to be attached to them. I have become so dependent on my phone that I don't remember anyone's phone number except my husband and grandmother. It's so sad but it's the truth, cell phones are essential!
MacBook Air
I have been a MacBook lover for many years now. Once I switched from a Windows computer to a Mac I knew I would never go back. I had the MacBook Pro first and a little over a year ago I purchased the MacBook Air and I love them both. The MacBook Air is so lightweight and easy to carry, making it perfect for traveling. I use my MacBook every day to write these wonderful blog posts for y'all, so it is defiantly something I can't live without.
Tote
A neutral and versatile tote is a must-have for me. I've been using my Fossil tote for awhile and love it! I purchased this tote for my internship to be able to carry my notebook and Macbook around the hospital I interned at. I've been loving it so much I still haven't switched back to my handbag. I love that I can easily toss in whatever I want such as a bottle of water, snacks, keys, and my wallet while I'm on the go.
Layered Necklace
I recently purchased this gold necklace from BaubleBar and I've worn it non-stop since. I'm normally not a gold jewelry person, but I decided to step out of the box a little and I'm so glad I did! This necklace adds the perfect amount of sparkle to any look, especially v-neck tops.
Basic Tee
A few posts ago I talked about my Fall Capsule Wardrobe where I mentioned the importance of a basic tee. I also gave some inspiration on how to style basic pieces such as this in my 10 pieces to 12 Outfits post. These basic tees are a staple in my wardrobe, I have them in multiple colors and sleeve lengths. I wear these basic tees year-round so it is defiantly one of the top things I can't live without.
Distressed Jeans
Distressed jeans are a staple in my wardrobe. I love them in Fall and Spring with a basic tee, it's my go-to casual look! Nordstrom and Express are my favorite places to get jeans, they fit great and feel amazing on. I prefer a light distressing rather than holes in my denim, I think it is easier to wear and looks great on everyone.
Sweet Tea
I save the best for last! Other than cowboy boots sweet tea is the top thing I can't live without. Being from the South sweet tea has always been a staple in my home. Lipton Sweet Tea is the best! I have cut soda out pretty much completely, with the exception when we eat out at most restaurants. Something about a glass of sweet iced tea makes my heart sing. Funny story-- after waking up from my wisdom teeth removal I asked my surgeon repeatedly if I could drink sweet tea...I was very concerned about my sweet tea so it is something I can't live without!
