How to Style Leggings | 13 Looks for Fall

Who else loves to wear leggings?! they are comfy and easy to throw on. I've put together a few looks to show you how you can wear leggings casually and how to you can dress them up a little more. The first step in styling leggings is making sure you have a high-quality legging that will not be sheer. My favorite leggings are by Zella, they are so comfy and don't lose their shape or color in the wash. Zella has a legging style for everyone, my personal favorite are these Live In High Waist Leggings. You can also wear all of these looks with black jeans to mix it up a little, these & these are my favorite black jeans. Black leggings/jeans are such a staple to have in your wardrobe and can be used to create hundreds of looks for any occasion. For this post, I will show how you can style each look casually and dressed up.

    I love a good denim jacket, it is one of my favorite layering pieces to wear year round. I like to pair my denim jacket with a basic white or grey tee and my favorite leggings. For a quick and easy look that is perfect for going to sporting events on the weekend, throw on your favorite tennis shoes. To dress this look up, try adding a pair of ankle booties or cowboy boots.

    This is such a classic look for Fall and winter. A striped tee is an essential in my wardrobe since it is so versatile. I love wearing all black looks like this with a pop of pattern such as a striped tee. Looks like these are great for a rainy day or shopping with friends.

    A chambray shirt is so versatile and I love the way it looks with black leggings or jeans. Pop on a scarf and rain boots for a casual look or red cowboy boots and a statement necklace for a classic western-inspired look. This is such a fun and easy look to wear.

    Recently I talked about 5 ways to style a utility jacket (here), and I've put two more looks together for you! I seriously love this jacket, it's so versatile. If you buy anything this Fall season, make sure you pick up this great jacket! It is so easy to style with a basic tee and tennis shoes for a super casual look that is perfect for running errands. Pairing the look with booties and a scarf is another fun every day look for Fall.
  5. COZY SWEATER
    This look screams Fall! I am obsessed with this sweater and I have it in 3 colors!  Sadly it is sold out but I've linked a few very similar sweaters. Pairing a sweater with leggings is such an easy and cozy look, making it one of my favorite looks for Fall and winter. This would be such a cute and casual look for Thanksgiving, you will be cozy while still being festive and super cute for photos!

    This casual look couldn't be any easier to wear and style. Throw on your favorite cami and cardigan and you're out the door! This look is also very easy to dress up just but switching the shoes and accessories. How cute is this easy everyday outfit?!

    Every time I put on this leather jacket Kane Brown's "Pull It Off" song pops in my head. If you haven't listened to his music you definitely should go check him out! I've been following him for 2 years and he's just now taking off...I'm obsessed y'all! I love the way a leather jacket pairs with legging to create such a fun and edgy look. This would be the perfect date night look when paired with a gorgeous lace cami, black jeans, and leather jacket. So sleek and sexy!

    Jewel-tones are so beautiful and perfect to wear in Fall. I've been loving olive clothing for Fall this year, its such a versatile color and looks great on my skin tone. This tunic style top is PERFECT for pairing with leggings. It is long enough to cover your bum and the flowy material is so comfy and flattering. This is another great look for Thanksgiving, leggings and a flowy top will allow you to consume all of the delicious food you can!

    All black everything is such a classic look and so slimming! This look is so easy to recreate and can be worn so many ways. You can add a pop of color to the look with accessories like a scarf, necklace or with your shoes. I like to add a little edge to my style and the cowboy boots paired with the leather jacket is the perfect way to do it. You can also pair a black sweater with this look for when it is cooler and you still want this classic edgy feel.

    Thermals are so easy to style and so cozy in the cooler months. I'm the type of person who hates wearing a ton of layers but also hates to be cold, so thermals are my best friend. They are so lightweight but also keep me so toasty. I love this neutral thermal because it pairs beautifully with a plaid scarf. Thermals like these that are relaxed and comfy are perfect for wearing with leggings!
  11. POP OF PLAID
    You can never go wrong with a plaid shirt, such a classic wardrobe staple. You can style this shirt a ton of different ways. Two of my favorite ways to wear this shirt is unbuttoned layered over a basic tee and paired with a quilted vest. For a casual look style the look with rain boots, you could also pair it with tennis shoes like Converses. Of course, my favorite way to style a plaid top and leggings is with cowboy boots. Plaid Top + Cowboy Boots = PERFECTION! Such an easy Fall look that is so comfy and cute.

    How beautiful is this classic chic look? I love pairing a vest with legging and rain boots for a casual preppy look. Another fun way to style this look, and one of my personal favorites, is with cowboy boots. You know I had to add my personal touch with my boots! This look is so simple yet has some fun interest with the printed vest.
  13. GAMEDAY READY

 Y'all know I love my Alabama football (Roll Tide!) so I had to include some easy gameday looks. The easiest and most comfy gameday look is pairing your favorite team's jersey with leggings and cowboy boots. It doesn't get any cuter than this y'all! This simple outfit is my go-to gameday look...I love it! To dress it up a little for gameday you can wear your team's colors with a cute blouse and jeans. This type of look is great for showing your team spirit at work or a night out. I paired this last look with my favorite distressed jeans to show you how easy it is to mix it up with black jeans. Of course, this look would also look great with leggings for a casual look or non-distressed jeans for a work-appropriate look.
