We're Moving To....

Hey Y'all! I'm finally spilling the beans about where we're moving this summer! I've had a hard time keeping a secret this big, so a couple of people have been told, but this post makes it official!

Thomas will be finishing up school here at Fort Gordon in June. We will have about 3 weeks to get packed up and moved to our new duty station. Of course, this will all be happening during the 4th of July and my birthday...hopefully we can find time to celebrate and enjoy my favorite month of the year!

Like we've done for all of our PCS moves (except the last one) we will be having the Army pack and move us. We made the mistake of moving ourselves the last move and it was miserable...don't recommend it at all [even if it's a short distance]! 

Without further ado, this summer we will be moving to....

FORT BRAGG, NC 

I'll be honest I had my reservations about moving back home to NC. I haven't lived there in 8 years! Fort Bragg is actually super close to my hometown (about 45 minutes) so it's exciting to be heading home but will take some getting used to and boundaries will need to be set. 

It was Thomas' first choice, so he is pretty excited! He really wanted to work for this particular unit and the special ops community is something he always wanted to be apart of. I'm so proud of him for setting these goals for himself and fighting to accomplish them. It is the best feeling in the world to watch your husband’s dreams become reality.
